The TNMG160408R XC8110 features a negative triangular geometry providing 6 cutting edges for maximum economic efficiency. This chipbreaker is specifically designed for high-depth-of-cut and high-feed applications, making it the "heavy lifter" of the TNMG family.
Key Features:
Grade XC8110: A premium CVD-coated grade featuring a specialized TiCN + Al2O3 coating. This grade offers extreme heat resistance and high hardness, allowing it to maintain its edge during high-speed machining of Steel (P) and Cast Iron (K).
GH (Heavy Roughing) Chipbreaker: The geometry features a wide land and a reinforced cutting edge. It is designed to handle thick chips and high cutting forces, preventing edge chipping even when machining material with heavy scale or interrupted cuts.
0.8mm Nose Radius: Provides the ideal balance of edge strength and versatility. It is robust enough for aggressive roughing while still capable of leaving a respectable surface finish for semi-finishing passes.
