The CNMG120408M XC7110 is a double-sided, 80° Rhombic (Diamond) insert that provides 4 cutting edges for maximum cost efficiency. Paired with the XC7110 grade, it is specifically engineered to handle the work-hardening and high-heat characteristics of austenitic stainless steels (304, 316) and Duplex materials.

Key Features:

• Grade XC7110: A premium PVD-coated grade with high thermal stability and excellent coating adhesion.³ It is designed to resist Notch Wear and Built-Up Edge (BUE), which are the primary causes of failure in stainless steel machining.

• Chipbreaker: A "Medium-Duty" geometry with a reinforced land. The design is slightly more robust than finishing chipbreakers, allowing it to handle variable depths of cut and skin scales while maintaining efficient chip breaking.

• 0.8mm Nose Radius: Provides a high-strength cutting tip that is resistant to chipping. It allows for increased feed rates and is capable of handling semi-roughing to medium turning with ease.

• PVD Multi-Layer Coating: The thin but extremely hard PVD coating maintains a sharp cutting edge, which is essential for reducing the cutting force and heat generated when machining gummy materials.
