Key Features:

• Grade XPK130: A heavy-duty CVD-coated grade optimized for Steel (P) and Cast Iron (K). This grade features a thick coating layer that protects the carbide substrate from crater wear and thermal shock.

• Chipbreaker: A specialized "Medium-Finishing" geometry. It features a wave-shaped cutting edge that reduces cutting pressure and breaks chips efficiently, even in "gummy" low-carbon steels.

• 0.8mm Nose Radius: Provides a robust cutting edge capable of handling higher feed rates and larger depths of cut compared to a 0.4mm radius, while still maintaining a commercial surface finish.

• Positive 7° Relief: Reduces friction and power consumption, making it perfect for small CNC lathes and boring operations where tool pressure must be kept low. 

• Best For:

  • Medium turning, profiling, and internal boring of Steel alloys.
